Oil production dropped last year

In 2007, global crude oil production dropped, according to BP’s annual Statistical Review of World Energy. Global crude oil production dropped by 0.2 percent from 2006 to 2007, despite crude oil prices doubling in the same period, as global oil consumption grew 1.1 percent.
